Our 2025 Trunk or Treat Was a Haunting Good Time!

What a night! We want to extend a huge thank you to every ghost, goblin, superhero, K-Pop Demon Hunter, and princess who came out to Central Chevrolet for our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 25th. Thanks to you, this year’s event was an absolute blast and our biggest community celebration yet!

For a few spooktacular hours, our dealership at 675 Memorial Ave was transformed into a Halloween paradise. The air was filled with excitement, laughter, and the festive spirit of our West Springfield community.

A Safe & Fun Celebration for West Springfield Families

Our main goal has always been to provide a safe, fun, and family-friendly alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Seeing so many families walking from trunk to trunk, collecting candy, and enjoying the festive atmosphere in a secure environment made all the planning worth it.

We were absolutely blown away by the creativity on display! Our staff and community partners, like the Corvette Club of Western MA, went all-out decorating their trunks. We saw everything from spooky graveyards and friendly monsters to dazzling fantasy lands. It was a true testament to the amazing spirit of our community.

More Than Just a Car Dealership

At Central Chevrolet, we're proud to be more than just a place to buy a car. We are part of the West Springfield and greater Western Massachusetts family. Events like Trunk or Treat are our favorite way to give back to the community that supports us all year long.

Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces as they showed off their costumes and filled their candy buckets is a memory we’ll cherish. It was fantastic to connect with so many of our neighbors and celebrate this fun holiday together.

We’ll See You Next Year!

We're already counting down the days until next Halloween. The success of this event is all thanks to you for showing up and sharing your evening with us.

From all of us at Central Chevrolet, thank you for making our 2025 Trunk or Treat a spooktacular success!

Get Behind the Wheel: Touch A Truck Event at Central Chevrolet!

Looking for the ultimate family-friendly Saturday in Western Mass? Rev up your engines and clear your calendars! On Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Central Chevrolet is transforming our lot into a heavy-machinery playground for the local community. Our Touch A Truck event is a free, hands-on experience designed specifically for kids (and the young at heart) to explore the massive vehicles they usually only see from a distance. If your little one is obsessed with construction, public safety, or just anything with "big tires," this is the place to be. A Special Guest: Boomer from the Springfield Thunderbirds! We are thrilled to announce a very special guest appearance! Boomer, the lovable mascot of the Springfield Thunderbirds, will be joining us from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Whether he’s high-fiving the kids or "testing out" the driver's seat of an excavator, Boomer always brings the energy. Don't forget to bring your camera for a photo op with Western Mass’s favorite thunderbird! What to Expect We’ve gathered a fleet of the coolest rigs in West Springfield to give your children a front-row seat to the action. This isn’t just a "look but don't touch" kind of day. We encourage kids to: Climb into the driver’s seat of massive excavators and dump trucks. Honk the horns (fair warning to the parents!) of local emergency vehicles. Learn how they work by talking to the experts who operate these machines every day. Snap photos with the fleet and Boomer—perfect for those childhood scrapbooks! Why We Love "Touch A Truck" Events like these are more than just a fun afternoon; they are a great way for kids to engage with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in a real-world setting. Seeing the mechanics of a hydraulic lift or the scale of a tractor-trailer sparks curiosity and career interests early on. Plus, it's a fantastic way for us at Central Chevrolet to give back to the West Springfield community that supports us year-round. Event Details: When: Saturday, May 2, 2026 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Where: Central Chevrolet, 675 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089 Cost: FREE! Join Us at Central Chevrolet! While the kids are busy exploring the excavators and hanging out with Boomer, feel free to browse our latest lineup of family-ready Chevy SUVs and trucks. Whether you need the towing power of a Silverado or the safety features of a Tahoe, we’ve got the perfect "big truck" for your driveway, too. We can’t wait to see you there! Service with a Purpose: How You Helped Us Fill the Truck for the Boys & Girls Club

This holiday season at Central Chevrolet, we wanted to do something different. We know the holidays can be expensive, both for buying gifts and keeping your vehicle running safely during a New England winter. That’s why we launched a special partnership between our Service Department and the community: Donate a Toy, Get a Discount. The results were incredible, and we are thrilled to announce that the drive was a massive success. A Win-Win for West Springfield We offered a simple deal: bring in a new, unwrapped toy for a local child, and receive a discount on your service bill. The response from our customers was heartwarming. Not only did many of you get your winter oil changes, battery checks, and tire rotations done for a great price, but you also filled our donation bins to the brim. It was amazing to see customers walking into the service lane carrying action figures, dolls, and games alongside their car keys. Delivering the Joy hanks to your generosity, we were able to deliver a truckload of toys to the Boys & Girls Club of West Springfield. The holidays are all about community, and we are proud to support an organization that provides a safe, positive place for the youth of West Springfield. Seeing the pile of toys grow in our service waiting area was a daily reminder of how generous our customers really are. https://www.tiktok.com/@centralchevyma/video/7582612911911177527?lang=en Thank You for Trusting Us To everyone who participated—thank you.
