Came in for an oil change, was asked if I wanted my tires rotated in which I declined. However, the service men rotated them anyways, while doing so he put my back tire on backwards, which is extremely hazardous, I had to come back the following morning, inconvenincing me as I had to be to work for 8am. No one offered any solutions on rectifying the situation as I've been a loyal customer for about seven years. I thought certainly I'd be offered a gift card or a refund. This experience has left me very disappointed in Chevy and I will share this information on social media.

Mike was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with! While searching my boyfriend found out that you guys had exactly what we were looking for and called. Mike called us back right away, and even heard my voice in the background and said he had one of those little voices too and asked my name. To me this was huge, some dealerships seem to only acknowledge the male party. He mentioned how he's had his little voice for 40 years, which was the sweetest thing. We both ended the phone call saying he seems so nice and looked foward to dealing with him. He made the process so quick and easy. I wish I had heard about him sooner, it would have saved us lots of time and stress! He didn't play any of the classic number games that so often dealerships do, he was genuinely honest and straightforward. Which is hard to find. I will highly recommend Mike and the dealership to anyone I know.

Great experience from sales, finance to delivery

Where to start? The service here was totally unacceptable. I bought a new car and had to have it serviced, something with the convertible top was wrong. After being jerked around for two weeks, which at the time was longer than I had the car in my possession, it felt like a slap in the face to hear that the issue could have taken less than an hour to fix. I called pretty much everyday, sometimes a few times a day only to be told that there was no one available to help me, answer my questions, or that I had "just missed" the technician and they are currently no longer available today so I will have to call back tomorrow. When getting my car back, they left a piece of the trunk trim in my front seat! At first the blame was skirted and I was told that there was "no way" that they could have done it and they don't even know what it is. It wasn't until after I had looked up the product number on the part and sent them a screenshot that they offered to rectify the issue. I am so beyond disgusted with the service, I will never get any of my other cars serviced here as a result.

When I asked for a quote on new tires, Jayson quickly responded and offered a very competitive price on new Pirelli tires and set up a very quick appointment along with a wheel alignment. When I arrived, at my request, he added a routine oil change and inspection so I didn’t have to make a separate appointment and arranged transportation to and from home. Thank you.

This was an excellent experience! I tried to set up appointments for oil changes and tire rotation, but the appointments are 3 to 4 weeks out for availability. When I called, to see if I could get set up for something sooner rather than later, the service member "Chris" said bring it in early and they'll take care of it, or drop it off the night before. I was back on the road before 2 pm.

Central Chevrolet was the third regional dealership we visited considering purchased of the first electric vehicle in my life (I'm seventy-eight years old.). Neither of the other two dealerships even had an Equinox EV on their lot to look at or test ride. My experience at Central was very positive from the moment my wife and I went into the showroom to look at an Equinox EV on display. We liked the design of the exterior and opened the driver's door and sat in the driver's seat. We were impressed with the quality & layout of the interior. Within a few minutes a salesman approached and provided details about the car that helped both of us conclude this might be a very good vehicle for us. We were introduced to Guy Montone who specialized in electric vehicle sales. He was easy to speak with & very well versed in the technology of the vehicle and its features. We were given an opportunity to test ride an Equinox EV first as passengers and, after he explained the one pedal operation, as a driver in a large parking lot. He demonstrated the infotainment panel and GPS trip map, audio system, Bluetooth and more. We were sold! At all times Guy was very easy to speak with and eager to help us make a decision. He explained all the incentives which put the purchase price within our reach. We followed his advice on selecting accessories & purchased a roof rack, Level 2 charging unit and an adapter for Tesla chargers. He offered to sit with us after we drove the Equinox for a while to make certain we were taking advantage of all its capabilities and were connected to various EV power charging companies. Guy Montone went well above and beyond what we would have expected. The car has exceeded our expectations. We believe we are looking at the future of automobile transportation in this car. The car dealer can be a very vulnerable place for someone who knows nothing about cars, but Kevin in the service department made the process very easy. Kevin was friendly and he took the time to answer all my questions and explain things until I understood. But most importantly, he was very honest. I certainly will be coming back for all my service and would recommend you do the same.

I recently bought a vehicle from this dealership and had to pay in full because, as a Lyft driver, I wasn’t approved for financing—which was a bit disappointing. However, I want to say a big thank you to Ryan, who made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He was very professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. I truly appreciated his support and highly recommend working with him!

My service was excellent however, took longer than expected and Central suggested a loaner. I didn’t mind but when I got there there were no loaners available and they arranged a rental with Enterprise, also did not mind. My issue was that I was required to make a $100 deposit for the rental which I had not expected. I was also dropping off my husbands car for service at Central. Had I known about the rental and deposit I would have likely just rescheduled my husband’s vehicle and kept it instead of everything else. But I did not know until I was picked up and brought to Enterprise. Central should pay the deposit or at least let people know.

I was charged $220.00 for a stripped drain plug which I don’t believe. Get drain plug off and replace with $12 one which has to come off anyway. Then charge me 1 hour labor for that, insane. I will never come back!!!

I have been a customer of central chevy since 1989. Many mechanics come and gone, Dave Boucheron, Al Anderson and most recent James English. I was so sad that my newest mechanic left. He was a great knowledgeable polite mechanic. I wish he was still working at your establishment. He was worth keeping for sure. I thought he would of been still there being younger than I. I felt so comfortable with him working on my vehicles taking care with them as I am picky with my vehicles. Older vehicles but I keep in excellent shape and trusted Mr. English. I lost an excellent mechanic.

I received a flyer in the mail stating that I had 2 free maintenance checks for my Chevy Bolt EUV. I took it to the service desk when I brought my car in to get serviced. After a few minutes, the man said that the flyer expired two years ago!

I came for my annual inspection. Everyone was very friendly from the first person I talked to at the parking lot station. I got my car in the bay immediately and waited a very reasonable amount of time for the inspection to be completed. Before I went to the waiting area, I had asked the inspection guy if they could check the air in my tires, because my monthly diagnostic told me the air pressure was off in all 4. He said he would see what he could do, but that really wasn't part of this appointment. When at the window to pay, I asked the woman if they checked the air. She asked the man I had asked and he told us he didn't have time. I was a little annoyed at that, and that he was willing to let me go without letting me know it wasn't done. The very nice women found someone to do it right away and back to the waiting area I went. A few minutes later the nice man she asked came to get me and told me all tires were checked and set to the proper pressure. He couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating and turned it around for me. I purchased my car here 1 year ago and this was my first time coming back for anything.

From the very start, meeting the gent in the box welcoming me to service and giving me directions on where to park, to meeting Christopher inside the service center. He was very courteous and up front about the work, time, and $. It did take 6 hours which I felt was quite a long time, but I was offered shuttles throughout. Everyone was friendly. I got to talk volleyball with one and realized the "cashier" knew my cousin. The only knock was the time it took to do the clutch and brake flushes. Besides that, the cost was lower than my mechanic said it would cost and they did the job well. Thanks CC

I have noticed several times that the two people I see on TV go by I really wish they would kind of stop and say hello. Just a thought

Efficient, friendly, very helpful

Overall, the experience of the dealership was good, check in process is relatively easy. Two things that were not great are the waiting time their website says about an hour for an oil change and it was closer to two hours. Secondly, I have a 2024 Silverado with 16,000 miles on it, it’s just over a year old. The driver side view mirror has been wiggling since about day one, the service advisor said that they have been seeing this in the Silverado and have been replacing them under warranty. Unfortunately, when they contacted GM about this, they denied my claim because there is a “scuff“ on my mirror. The scuff is from a tarp that I used to cover something up. There was no damage to the mirror on my part. this is unfortunate, this is the first Chevrolet I bought in 40 years, and my truck has already had a transmission issue the first month that I owned it and now he won’t cover a simple mirror that sounds like it’s been an issue for other customers.

I had also forgotten that I needed to get an inspection done, which Kevin thankfully pointed out, and had taken care of promptly. I will not hesitate to go back if I ever have any vehicle issues. 10/10.

I’ve been a customer of Central Chevy for years and this last service visit on 12/11/2025 has made me reconsider using them for my future service needs. I brought my 2019 Chevy Equinox in to have a tire sensor replaced and to have my vehicle inspected for any damage to the dash due to mice. I spoke with Daryl mid-morning who provided an update on both concerns, they had replaced the sensor and they found no damage behind the dash from mice. Daryl then provided me with a list of four additional services that should be done on the vehicle. He stated that my battery needed to be replaced, I needed an oil change, my rear wiper blade needed to be replaced, and my transmission fluids needed attention. I asked him how much those four services were going to cost and he told me around $980 in addition to the cost of the tire sensor replacement. I told him that was way more than I could afford right now and then asked him out of those four services he mentioned, what needed immediate attention. He told me the battery, the oil change, and the wiper blade, he stated that the transmission fluid could wait a little longer. I asked him how much those three services would cost and he said $560 and that he could apply the $200 Chevy reward credit I had on my account. I told him that was more manageable and that he could do those three immediate services today, but only if the vehicle would be ready before 4pm because I had an appointment I had to go to. Daryl spoke with the service foreman and assured me everything would be completed before 4pm before we ended the call. I arrived at 3:30 and was told my vehicle was not finished by the woman who handles the billing/payments. Daryl approached and said that he had just checked in with the technician who said it would only be a few more minutes and I could have a seat in the waiting room, which I did. A few minutes had passed and Daryl came to find me to tell me that when he told me a few more minutes he really meant a few more minutes and respected my time constraints and I’d be called over very shortly. Daryl reappeared after 4pm to let me know that he was able to get my total price to just about $1000 with the Chevy rewards being applied. I was in shock with this price because I had told him I could not afford a $1000 bill right now, I asked him what services were exactly done, he told me the tire sensor, battery, oil change, wiper blade, and transmission fluids. I told him I didn’t think we were doing the transmission fluid because it wasn’t an immediate need, he said no he told me the fuel system cleaning was optional. At this point I was not about to argue with Daryl about what we discussed earlier in the day considering the waiting room was full of customers, the services had already been performed, and I was now missing the appointment I had told Daryl I had to be at. It was still another 10 minutes before I was called up to pay and retrieve my vehicle. I went back and checked my notes when I got home and we never spoke about the fuel system cleaning. After receiving the email asking for my review, I reached out to Central on Monday December 15th to request that a service department manager contact me so I could address my dissatisfaction with them and as of right now, no one has contacted me.

It was a beautiful day and my visit was short and very expensive.

I was greeted by a friendly gate keeper who gave clear directions to the service area. There I was met by Brian who was equally friendly. He explained what service had been previously been done on my vehicle and future needs. The service was done in a timely fashion. I wanted in a comfortable customer area with plenty of comfortable seating and drinks available.

I stopped in to see about an alignment for my 2022 Bolt. Brian took me in and arranged for work that day as well as a ride to and from my home. Further, he helped me convert Chevy rewards to pay for the service. Wonderful.

Service didn’t take too long and is always easy to set up. The man who worked on my car was a bit rude, telling me that having my keychains on my key could kill me (no further explanation and also not true) and making a comment about me bringing a ‘toy’ with me while I waited. I’ve dealt with him one other time and he was rude then too. The mechanic I usually have, who I believe is out on parental leave, is always so great though!

Once it came in he kept the process to close the deal and pickup the truck simple and easy. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Everything was done right and on time.

Our salesman Ryan was very helpful, friendly, and was able to answer and address our questions.

1) My daughter took her car in for a service (which I paid to have included at the time of purchase in 2022) and I was still charged 100 dollars for the oil change. No explanation was given... for some reason was given a print out showing $27 of the service was covered. 2) Check engine light was on. That was diagnosed and car was taken back on for this repair. At 44,000 miles, the repair was covered. Car was picked up by my daughter. Same day the car breaks down on the highway. Dealership was notified of situation and sent a tow truck the next day to get the car after my daughter was able to "limp" out back to house. Dealership picked up car and informed me that a technician error caused the problem as a hose was not replaced correctly causing car to over heat. Needless to say, I was not very pleased about this entire situation. Not too mention I'm not very happy with the vehicle in general. Needed a new transmission in the summer of 2025 at about 37000 miles. I will not ever consider buying a general motors product again.

Tim is an excellent salesman - this is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from him. He is very professional, knowledgeable and just an all around great person. had a dead battery issue in my 2025 C8 worked thru Ed Ogrady to get the car started and my home and then service immediately ran full diagnostic tests on the car and all checked out. Still a mystery of what caused on the battery issue , but Ed O and Central addressed very quickly - thank You

While labor costs are high even for the simplest of repairs, they are done efficiently and correctly.

I had a slow starting truck with all this cold weather we've had, I didn't have an appointment when I called they told me to come in and they would check it out. Service was excellent, just wish my windows and outside mirrors were less streaky. I know it’s tough getting windows clean, but when the sun hits it just right the streaks show up.

2 hours for an oil change with tire rotation for $146 is too long for too much. I'm done. I'll do it myself.

Having erratic shifting then engine light came on noting transmission codes, I went to a transmission shop and they recommended dealer. I went to GM dealer that was 4-5 weeks out for service. My son recommended I go to Central. I went there the same day. They took my vehicle in (3) days. Service Rep, Darryl Luff, listened to my vehicle issues and reviewed concerns before submitting. Not knowing the extent of repairs needed until technician checked it out, Darryl called with updates during procedure. One part took a while to locate. Truck is back, shifting right and no more check engine light. Darryl also noted a recall on vehicle to be taken care of while in shop and assisted with warranty coverage. Thanks to Darryl and Serv Tech of Central Chevrolet.

It was substantially more expensive than the initial estimate. The first day that I dropped it off, you did nothing. And the second day when I picked it up, it was half ass.

Service was completed earlier than estimated so that was a pleasant surprise!

I brought it in for transmission service and was told they needed to hold it overnight. Eight days later I got my vehicle back. The entire time I was told it would be ready the next day. They could have replaced the transmission multiple times in an eight day period.

When I first called to inquire about the 26 Colorado I was assisted with the pleasant voice of Sam Hebert to answer the questions I had without pushing. When I finally decided to schedule an appointment, Sam was not the usual pushy salesman and worked with myself and husband without any hassel. We changed out minds a couple of times and Sam stayed cool and calm the whole time. He was also fun about some of my comments about us being old and slow with the technology part of the sale. He was GREAT. Melissa was also verym knowledgable, patient and helpful with the financing aspect of the sale. We felt very comfortable with everyone we dealt with. We have recommended Central Chevrolet to a couple of our friends already. The dealership was clean, accomadating and comfortable. Central Chevrolet has been in West 'Springfield for many decades and I will definitely rely on them to care for my new 26 Colorado.

They did diagnostics on my car for one hour and charged me for 2 hours its 399$.I visited the service center at 3:05 pm the advisor told car is in the garage but no one yet assigned to work and they call me back around 4:15 pm and told the problem .it means they did it less than one hour .

Extremely poor communication, ultimately took truck back after one and a half days of doing nothing. Would not recommend to anyone

Brought my truck in to fix the fender that was damaged by the mirrors which is fixed properly. But the radio which has been brought in total of 3 times now to fix is still not fixed. The seat cusion which was brought in twice for repair still isn't fixed right. My service advisor is great he is doing everything he can to help fix things but truck is still not right. Nothing but issues from day one with this truck but what do you expect for 90k plus. Garbage.

They charge me $ 200:00 for check my truck, They Said for a full check uy was 1:500,00 hundred ,and the technician said isn't any conprecion in cylinder 4 maybe costs around 5,000,00 dollars ,I have my truck checked for another. Tech conprecion was okay how you explain that???

For the most part things went well. I dropped my truck off around 9:15 as planned but never heard anything until after 4:30pm. Turns out you kept my vehicle due to the repairs I approved after my 4:30 notification. The communication was not there as it has been in the past. I trust that the repairs recommended were needed but was not pleased that more could not have been done with the price since tasks overlapped in the services being performed.

Chris met me when I pulled into service bay wrote up my vehicle and mechanic informed Chris my battery should be replaced and he relayed the message to me I told him to replace it.

As usual, the Service Department was great. Brian took care of my concerns and needs and I got my truck back with new batteries.!

Great job done repairing check engine light problems. But vibration during breaking was not fixed after replacing rear brakes. Diagnosis from brake problem was incorrect.

The team at Central Chevy performed an oil change, safety inspection, mounted and balanced 4 new tires and did my annual inspection all in 1 day. They did an excellent job!
