This past Saturday, June 29, 2024, Central Chevrolet had the honor of participating in and sponsoring the Ninth Annual Hot Rods for Heroes Car Show & Auto Swap Meet. This fantastic event, organized by American Legion Post 356, took place at Strathmore Park in Russell, MA, and it was a day filled with community spirit, amazing classic cars, and support for our veterans. A Day of Automotive Excellence and Community Support The Hot Rods for Heroes event brought together car enthusiasts and community members for a great cause. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, attendees were treated to an impressive display of classic cars and hot rods, showcasing the rich automotive heritage that we at Central Chevrolet are proud to be a part of. As a family-owned dealership, we understand the importance of community involvement and supporting our local heroes. That's why we were thrilled to sponsor this event, which benefits veterans, charities, youth organizations, homeless cat shelters, and scholarships. At Central Chevrolet, we believe in giving back to the community, and last night, we had the privilege of sponsoring Haymakers for Hope's Rock 'N Rumble XIII in Boston. This wasn't your typical boxing event. It was a night filled with powerful stories of cancer survivorship, unwavering dedication from the boxers, and a collective spirit of hope. The fighters were everyday heroes who stepped into the ring for a cause bigger than themselves. They trained tirelessly, driven by the desire to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Their stories resonated deeply with the crowd, reminding us of the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Central Chevrolet is incredibly proud to have sponsored Clayton Reed, who participated in the event. Clayton dedicated himself to 4 months of rigorous training, culminating in a well-deserved victory. Along with training 7 days a week and putting countless hours into the gym – he raised almost $30,000 dollars personally. The True win belongs to Haymakers for Hope, who have raised over $25 million since their inception to fund vital cancer research.
