Funds raised at the club’s All Corvette Show in Chicopee, with a $1,000 contribution from Connecticut’s “For Corvettes Only”
FEEDING HILLS, Mass. — Monday June 29th, 2026 — The Corvette Club of Western Mass will be presenting 2 checks totaling $8,330 to Soldier On during a ceremony on Monday, June 29th, at 4:45 p.m. in front of Soldier On at 702 S. Westfield St., Feeding Hills, MA 01030. The donation supports Soldier On’s mission to end veteran homelessness and provide housing and supportive services to veterans in need.
The bulk of the gift — $7,330 — was raised at the club’s All Corvette Show, held May 17, 2026, at the Moose Lodge in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The event was a tremendous success, drawing 144 Corvettes and enthusiasts from clubs across the region for a day celebrating the iconic American sports car while raising funds for a cause close to the club’s heart. Attendees enjoyed live music, food, and refreshments, along with a Chinese raffle and a 50/50 raffle that paid out $475 to its lucky winner.
During the event, members of “For Corvettes Only,” a club based in southeastern Connecticut, made the trip north and contributed an additional $1,000 to the effort, bringing the total donation to $8,330. The partnership between the two clubs reflects a shared commitment to supporting the veterans who have served the country.
Representatives from Soldier On attended the show to share information about their work with homeless veterans and were impressed by how well organized the event was.
“We are proud to support Soldier On and the incredible work they do for veterans in our community,” said Thomas Patnaude, President of the Corvette Club of Western Mass. “This donation represents the generosity of our members, our show participants, our sponsors, and our friends at For Corvettes Only, who all came together to make a real difference.”
“It was an honor to take part in such a well-run show and to stand alongside the Corvette Club of Western Mass in support of our veterans,” said Mark Christensen, President of For Corvettes Only. “Corvette people take care of their own, and these are men and women who served all of us.”
