Corvette Club of Western Mass to Present $8,330 Check to Soldier On in Support of Local Veterans

The Corvette Club of Western Mass has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community. Following the successful car show held on October 5, 2024, the Club is proud to announce substantial donations to local veterans' charities. Generous Donations to Support Veterans On November 12, 2024, at 5 PM, the Club will present a check for $6,000 to the One Call Away Foundation at Central Chevrolet in West Springfield, MA. This donation, combined with the $500 already contributed at the car show, will directly support veterans and their families in need. Additionally, the Club will donate $2,000 to the Ludlow Office of Veterans Services. It was a perfect fall day in Chicopee last Saturday. The sun was shining, the leaves were turning, and the parking lot at the Chicopee Moose Family Center was packed with amazing cars. Why? Because the Corvette Club of Western Mass was hosting their annual All Makes Show, and Central Chevrolet was there to cheer them on! This wasn't just any car show. With 161 vehicles, from classic Corvettes to cool new rides, there was something for everyone to check out. But even cooler than the cars was the reason behind the event. The club was raising money for the One Call Away Foundation, which helps veterans who are dealing with PTSD. Based right here in Western Massachusetts, One Call Away offers vital programs and support services, fostering a sense of community and hope for veterans and their families. Their work is making a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
