2021 Colorado

The 2021 Chevy Colorado is available in Work Truck (WT), LT, Z71, and ZR2 trim levels. Depending on the model, you can choose an extended cab with a long box or a spacious crew cab with a short or long box. The WT offers daytime running lights, black trim, 17-inch steel wheels, cab-mounted cargo lamps, and a chrome rear bumper with corner step. The LT adds alloy wheels, body-color door handles and power mirrors, and an EZ-Lift and Lower remote locking tailgate. The more rugged Z71 features all-terrain tires, projector-beam headlights, and fog lights. For the ultimate off-road capability, the AWD-only ZR2 has a wider and taller stance, unique front fascia and bumpers, skid plates, special shocks, front and rear electronic locking differentials, fender flares, and bigger all-terrain tires. You also get a spray-on bed liner.

Standard power for WT and LT models is provided by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive WT and LT trims and the Z71 and ZR2 feature a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. LT and ZR2 models offer the option of a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel that produces 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It's matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Whether you use your truck for work or play, the Colorado has the capability you need. Depending on the configuration, you have a maximum payload of up to 1,550 pounds and a towing capacity of up to 7,000 pounds. The 3.6-liter V-6 will give you up to 18 and 25 mpg for city and highway driving.

Inside the well-equipped WT trim, you'll find durable vinyl seats, a power driver's seat, and air conditioning. The infotainment system features a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and six-speaker audio with satellite radio. The LT adds cloth seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. The Z71 trim offers leatherette-trimmed cloth seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, automatic climate control, wireless charging, an 8-inch touch screen, voice recognition, in-vehicle apps, and HD radio. The top-of-the-range ZR2 adds leather upholstery and a power passenger seat. Available interior features include a seven-speaker Bose premium sound system, USB data ports, and auxiliary input with an SD card reader.

Standard safety features on the Colorado include electronic stability control, traction control, a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, tire fill alert, and a configurable teen driver function. The LT has an auto-dimming rearview mirror, while the Z71 adds an HD camera and rear park assist. Available driver assistance features include forward collision alert and lane departure warning.
