2020 Traverse

The Chevy Traverse is available in L, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country trim levels. The L trim features high-intensity discharge headlights, LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, color-keyed door handles, heated power mirrors, and LED taillights. The LS trim adds deep-tinted rear glass, while the LT Cloth has fog lights and color-keyed mirrors with turn signals. LT Leather models have a programmable power liftgate. The Premier trim offers LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, chrome door handles, auto-dimming mirrors, and a hands-free liftgate. The sporty RS features unique styling cues, while the top-of-the-line High Country has a dual-panel power sunroof.

Under the hood of the Traverse is a smooth and powerful 3.6-liter V-6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels or the available all-wheel drive (AWD) system. It's matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission for smooth, effortless shifting.

With its purring V-6 engine, the Traverse gives you a refined and comfortable ride. It also has the power to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Stop/start technology helps to return up to 18 mpg for city driving, while you can achieve up to 27 mpg on the highway. When equipped with AWD, you'll have the confidence to handle challenging road conditions. At the turn of a dial, you can select fuel-efficient front-wheel-drive mode, all-wheel drive, off-road mode, or tow/haul mode.

Inside, the spacious cabin has seating for up to eight people. With a full load of passengers, you have a generous 23 cubic feet of room for luggage. Folding the second- and third-row seats flat gives you a vast 98.2 cubic feet of cargo space. L-trimmed models offer cloth seating, a second-row bench seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a tilting and telescoping steering column, and a newly designed gear selector. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system features smartphone compatibility, voice recognition, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 7-inch touch screen, and six USB ports. The LT Cloth trim adds a power driver's seat, second-row captain's chairs, a leather-bound steering wheel, and satellite radio. The LT leather features leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power passenger seat, and an 8-inch HD touch screen. RS models have an automatic heated steering wheel, a rear camera mirror, a 120-volt power outlet, navigation, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system. The Premier trim adds heated rear seats, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, and wireless charging. The High Country features a unique luxurious interior with power-folding third-row seats.

Standard safety features in the Traverse include electronic stability control, traction control, a passenger sensing system, a rear-seat reminder, a tire pressure monitoring system, and teen driver functions. The LT Leather adds lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist. RS models and up offer a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, and an HD surround-view camera system.
