Central Chevrolet’s Big E Traffic Cam Celebrates 10 Years of Helping Fairgoers Avoid Gridlock

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – September 12, 2025 – Central Chevrolet is proud to announce the 10th anniversary of its popular Big E Traffic Cam, a live-streaming public service that has become an essential planning tool for thousands of attendees of The Eastern States Exposition. For a decade, the camera has provided a free, real-time view of traffic conditions on Memorial Avenue, one of the main arteries leading to the fairgrounds.

What began in 2015 as a simple initiative to help the local community has grown into an annual tradition for fairgoers across New England. Hosted on YouTube, the Central Chevy Big E Traffic Cam offers an unfiltered, live look at the vehicle queues, allowing visitors to make informed decisions about when to travel, which routes to take, or which gate to aim for, ultimately reducing travel time and frustration.

The Big E is the largest agricultural event on the eastern seaboard and the fifth-largest fair in North America, drawing over 1.6 million visitors in 2024. The corresponding traffic can present significant challenges for attendees. The live stream is active 24/7 throughout the duration of The Big E, which runs from September 12th to September 28th, 2025.
